Indoor Practical Shooting !

Even our Admin girls are rocking it at practical….come on guys lets show em how its done! Ahem,  its every wednesday night, members only, starts 6pm….free food, great shooting competitions, beginers welcome! Get involved, we are waiting for you! This is just one of many stages you can shoot, got what it takes, both rifle, shotgun and handgun…. SHOOTER READY…STAND BY……Phoenix Range is affiliated with both the UKPSA ( United Kingdom Practical Shooting Association) and NTSA ( National Target Shotgun Association) where we practice and compete regularly on our indoor ranges. Everyone is encouraged to get involved, it’s all here for you, book your slot at reception. For example, on Wednesday night we held a 5-stage shotgun-only match using NTSA / UKPSA stages and rules. The start position for everyone is as per UKPSA/NTSA regulations, with the shotgun held at waist height, horizontal to the ground, known as low ready. Many members took part in the competition evening and all were fed in the bar to boot!

In discussions with members throughout the evening they said how much they enjoyed the matches against the plates, the variety of the stages gave them the challenge of completing the stages against the clock. So watch out, there is more to come, and remember, this is a professional disciplined activity, indoor, warm, dry, and held every week! Join us and apply for your firearms certificate (FAC) and or your shotgun certificate and compete! (Beginners can use our Section 2 Club shotguns available to hire from the Armoury, along with many section 1 rifles)
