Our try shoot session is the perfect introduction to shooting. Also available in groups, or just as an individual inclduing under 18's too!
Try Shoots are by appointment only, and you must bring ID, driver's license, student card with proof of address, No ID required for minors. People attending a try shoot "must not be prohibited from handling firearms" and must sign a declaration online to this effect when you register before calling to book. (01226) 885130
Our try shoot is approximately one hour in duration on our purpose built miniature rifle range, this will give you a chance to try shooting and see if it is the sport for you.
Your try shoot will comprise of a short induction and safety briefing including an introduction to our firearms.
You will then go on to have a supervised shoot with a semi-automatic firearm with heads up display (HUD) using live ammunition. Finishing off with a summary talk on available memberships and what your next steps would be.
*Your try shoot may vary in duration, depending on the number of people in your party.
Under 18s can also take part in our try shoots, with specially adapted versions available for younger children.
Under 18s must be atleast 8 years of age and capable of handling our firearms, don't worry parents, we have firearms that are adjustable for a perfect fit for children. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent and can take part in a try shoot alongside their parents.
Our adapted try shoot designed for smaller youngsters uses different firearms to our standard try shoots, with a lightweight construction, adjustable shoulder stocks and easy to operate action you child will be confident, capable and most of all safe.
